Despite the fact that he told me though, I didn't believe until I had seen it!! ]]> by: thomas http://woodandwire.org/2005/10/29/we05-where-was-windoze/#comment-5 Sat, 29 Oct 2005 11:56:07 +0000 http://woodandwire.org/2005/10/29/we05-where-was-windoze/#comment-5 Sorry I let my prejudices show - but I really was gobsmacked by how many Macs I saw. I'm used to being the lone "Mac guy" in a sea of PCs. Oh, and yes we do have firewalls :-) ]]> by: Ben Buchanan http://woodandwire.org/2005/10/29/we05-where-was-windoze/#comment-4 Sat, 29 Oct 2005 09:59:23 +0000 http://woodandwire.org/2005/10/29/we05-where-was-windoze/#comment-4 Actually I'd say the Macs are just more noticeable, being white. Plus, most of the PC users decided that the wifi wasn't worth the risk - you had to remove all firewalls to connect. Macs don't have firewalls maybe? So anyway, people were probably using their PCs less. You can take that as Mac supremacy if you like ;) The flip side is that when Derek's presentation went haywire on the big screen, it was a Mac screwing up... :) ]]>
